Pricing and Taxes

Net Prices

All prices displayed on this website are net prices (excluding VAT/sales tax). This means the price you see on our product pages, pricing page, and in promotional materials does not yet include any applicable taxes.

We display net prices because the applicable tax rate depends on your country of residence and whether you are purchasing as an individual consumer or as a business with a valid VAT ID.

How VAT Is Calculated

When you proceed to checkout, you will be redirected to our payment partner, Polar.sh. Polar.sh will calculate the correct VAT rate based on:

• Your country of residence (determined during checkout)
• Whether you provide a valid VAT ID (for EU business customers, VAT may be reverse-charged)

The final, binding price including all taxes will be clearly displayed on the Polar.sh checkout page before you confirm your purchase. You will not be charged until you explicitly complete the checkout.

Currencies

We display prices in both US Dollars (USD) and Euros (EUR). The currency shown to you by default depends on your geographic location:

• EU/EEA visitors see prices in EUR by default
• All other visitors see prices in USD by default

EUR prices are converted from USD at approximately 1 USD ≈ 0.92 EUR, rounded to whole numbers. The final checkout currency and any applicable conversion are handled by Polar.sh.

Business vs. Consumer Purchases

Our products can be purchased by both businesses (B2B) and individual consumers (B2C):

• EU business customers with a valid VAT ID may be exempt from VAT (reverse charge mechanism)
• Individual consumers in the EU will have VAT added at their country's standard rate
• Customers outside the EU may be subject to local sales tax, depending on their jurisdiction

Checkout Process

When you click a purchase button on our website, the following happens:

1. Confirmation step — A summary of your selected product and the net price is shown, along with a note that VAT will be calculated at checkout.
2. Redirect to Polar.sh — You are redirected to our payment partner's secure checkout page.
3. Final price displayed — Polar.sh shows you the complete final price including VAT before you enter any payment details.
4. Payment — Only after you review and confirm the final price will payment be processed.

Payment Partner

All payments are processed by Polar.sh, a Merchant of Record. Polar.sh handles payment processing, VAT collection, invoicing, and compliance with local tax regulations on our behalf.
