Azure Portal is powerful, but there are things it simply cannot do. Here are 10 features you'll find in Prizmik that have no equivalent in the Azure Portal.
1. Environment Topology Graph
See your entire Container Apps environment as an interactive node graph — apps, revisions, replicas, and Dapr service-to-service edges. Zoom, pan, filter, and export to PNG/SVG/PDF. The Portal shows a flat list; Prizmik shows you how everything connects.
2. Replica Heatmap
A CPU and memory heatmap across all replicas in a Container App. Instantly spot the replica that's consuming 3x more memory than its peers. The Portal doesn't even show per-replica resource usage in a comparable view.
3. Deployment Diff
Compare any two deployments of a Web App or Function App side by side — configuration changes, app settings, connection strings. The Portal shows deployment history as a list with no diff capability.
4. Function Dependency Graph
Visualize how your Azure Functions, triggers, and bindings connect in an interactive dependency graph. See which functions share the same Service Bus queue or which HTTP triggers feed into which orchestrators. This visualization doesn't exist anywhere in the Portal.
5. Security Headers Audit
One-click security headers analysis for your Web App — checks for HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options, and more, with fix suggestions. The Portal has no built-in security headers checker.
6. AI with Executable Tools
The Portal's Azure Copilot suggests CLI commands for you to copy-paste. Prizmik AI has 60+ tools that actually execute operations — with batch confirmation for mutations. Ask it to update your scaling rules, and it does it. No copy-pasting.
7. Dockview Split Panels
Open Metrics on the left, Logs on the right, AI assistant at the bottom — all in one window. The Portal shows one blade at a time. Prizmik lets you arrange any combination of panels in a split layout.
8. Command Palette
Press ⌘K (or Ctrl+K) to go to any panel, resource, or action instantly. The Portal has basic keyboard shortcuts, but nothing close to a full Command Palette with fuzzy search.
9. API Analytics Dashboard
Stacked bar charts, donut charts, and percentile breakdowns for your API Management traffic — all in one dashboard. The Portal's APIM analytics are spread across multiple blades and lack the interactive drill-down.
10. Cross-Resource Dependency Map
A Suite-exclusive feature that shows how your Container Apps, Functions, Web Apps, Static Web Apps, and APIM services connect — VNet links, Service Connectors, APIM backends, SWA linked backends. All in one interactive graph. The Portal has no cross-service dependency view.
These are just 10 of the 34 features that don't exist in Azure Portal. Prizmik was built to fill the gaps — not to replace the Portal for everything, but to be a faster, more capable alternative for the five Azure PaaS services developers use daily.
